About SpriteVFX

SpriteVFX is an independent browser editor for previewing, recoloring and exporting MIT-licensed pixel effects.

244 effects · 21 categories

A workbench for game effects

SpriteVFX helps game makers find an existing pixel effect, adapt its colors and prepare animation files for a game engine. Rendering and image export happen on your device. The library count shown here comes directly from the catalog, so the gallery, editor and export tools refer to the same source set.

Built on pixelfx, with attribution

The effects are based on patch-gg/pixelfx under the MIT license, with the upstream source revision and contributor notices preserved. This is an independent editor, not the official pixelfx gallery or a claim of partnership. The effects are not exclusive. The License page explains the distinction between upstream rights and this editor’s export service.

What SpriteVFX provides

Anyone can edit a single effect as a guest. Free downloads carry a watermark and a browser-local daily allowance. Pro removes the watermark and adds batch export. The pricing page has the billing portal and help for accessing your subscription.

Follow the actual product changes

The changelog records changes to this editor and its export workflows. The Godot page offers a sample project, and the Unity guide describes PNG grid import. There is no published Godot Asset Library plugin or Unity package. Choose a single effect first and verify the imported result in your own engine before building a larger asset pipeline.
