SpriteVFX privacy notice
How editing, optional visit analytics, payments and email recovery use your information.

Editing and free exports
Rendering, palettes and exported images stay in your browser. The daily Free export count uses local storage.
Optional visit analytics
If you allow analytics, PVUV counts visits to public pages using random visitor and session IDs in first-party cookies and a visitor ID in local storage. It receives the public page path, an approved source label if present, and the originating website when your browser supplies one. The tracker checks browser activity to distinguish visits from automated traffic. Connecting to PVUV exposes the network information your browser normally sends to a website.
Recovery pages and checkout returns are excluded. Email addresses, recovery codes, checkout IDs, editor selections and filenames are excluded from analytics. Declining analytics or turning on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control stops collection. You can withdraw consent here or through Cookie Settings in the footer. Withdrawal clears the analytics identifiers on this browser.
Payments and service email
Stripe handles payment details. SpriteVFX records checkout and subscription identifiers, their status and the paid period. A signed browser cookie identifies browsers with access to Pro. We do not store card numbers.
When email recovery is enabled, we use the email supplied by Stripe after a verified payment to send a welcome message and the recovery messages you request. Cloudflare Email Service delivers these transactional messages. They do not subscribe you to marketing. Opening a link does not activate Pro until you confirm it.
Storage and retention
We encrypt the checkout email and use a keyed digest to find it. A recovery code is single-use and valid for 15 minutes after sending. Request limits use short-lived keyed identifiers for the mailbox and network address. These counters expire after the hourly window. We do not put addresses or recovery codes in analytics.
We remove recovery contacts, their codes and browser links within 90 days of the recorded end of access, subject to the daily cleanup run. Separate payment records support billing and refunds. Removing site data clears your local access cookie and free counter.
